Species : Human

Tag : GST tag

Expression System : Sf9 insect cells using baculovirus

Sequence : Full Length

Genbank Number : NM_018379

Purity : Sample Purity Data. For specific information on a given lot, see related technical data sheet.

Storage, Stability and Shipping : Store product at –70oC. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Applications : Western Blot

Molecular Weight :  95 kDa

Gene Aliases :  FAM63A, MINDY lysine 48 deubiquitinase 1, MINDY-1

Scientific Background :  MINDY1, as a member of the motif interacting with Ub-containing novel DUB family, is widely expressed in human tissues and during development (1). It cleaves long polyUb chains through trimming chains from the distal end, suggesting a regulatory role in proteostasis (1). It has been reported that MINDY1 is associated with renal function, Chronic Kidney Disease (2), and Alzheimer’s disease (3) through several genome wide studies.
