Description :Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Species :

Tag :

Expression System:

Sequence :

Specificity :Recognizes the PAK7 protein

Cited Applications :WB, ELISA, ICC, IF

Cross Reactivity :Human

Host / Isotype / Clone# :Rabbit, IgG

Immunogen :PAK7 antibody was raised against a 13 amino acid synthetic peptide from near the center of human PAK7

Purification :Affinity chromatography

Stability :Store at 4oC (add 0.1% NaN3) for several months, and at -20oC for longer periods. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Sample Data :Western blot analysis of PAK7 in T24 lysate with PAK7 antibody at (A) 2 and (B) 4 ug/ml.

Sample Data :Immunocytochemistry of PAK7 in K562 cells with PAK7 antibody at 2 ug/ml.

Scientific Background :PAK7 (also known as PAK5) is a novel human PAK family kinase that contains a CDC42/Rac1 interactive binding (CRIB) motif at the N-terminus and a Ste20-like kinase domain at the C-terminus (1). The p21-activated kinase (PAK) family of protein kinases has recently attracted considerable attention as an effector of Rho family of small G proteins and as an upstream regulator of MAPK signalling pathways during cellular events such as re-arrangement of the cytoskeleton and apoptosis. PAK7 like the other Paks has been implicated in the regulation of cell morphology, motility and transformation.
