Description :Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Species :

Tag :

Expression System:

Sequence :

Specificity :Recognizes the PAK4 protein

Cited Applications :WB, ELISA, ICC, IF

Cross Reactivity :Human

Host / Isotype / Clone# :Rabbit, IgG

Immunogen :PAK4 antibody was raised against a 13 amino acid synthetic peptide from near the center of human PAK4

Purification :Affinity chromatography

Stability :Store at 4oC (add 0.1% NaN3) for several months, and at -20oC for longer periods. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Sample Data :Western blot analysis of PAK4 in SW480 lysate with PAK4 antibody at (A) 1 and (B) 2 ug/ml.

Sample Data :Immunohistochemistry of PAK4 in human colon tissue with PAK4 antibody at 10 ug/ml.

Scientific Background :PAK4 is a recently identified member of the p21-activated kinases (PAKs) which have been implicated in the regulation of cell morphology, motility and transformation. These serine/threonine kinases are activated by and are effectors of small GTPases, cdc 42 and Rac. PAK4 belongs to the Group II PAKs which also includes PAK5 and PAK6. PAK4 has been shown to regulate cell morphology and cytoskeletal organization in mammalian cells.
