Description :Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Species :Rabbit

Tag :

Expression System:

Sequence :

Specificity :Anti-HA antibody recognizes the N-terminal, C-terminal or internal HA-tagged (YPYDVPDYA sequence) fusion protein

Cited Applications :WB, ELISA, IP, IS

Cross Reactivity :All proteins tagged with HA

Host / Isotype / Clone# :Rabbit Polyclonal

Purification :Purified by antigen-specific affinity chromatography

Stability :Store at 4°C (add 0.1% NaN3) for several months, and at -20°C for longer periods. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Sample Data :Representative western blot (1:2000) using in a positive multi-tag cell lysate that contains 52 kDa HA tagged fusion protein.

Scientific Background :The HA epitope tag (YPYDVPDYA) consists of 9 amino acid residues and comes from the Human influenza virus hemagglutinin [1]. Hemagglutinin is a viral cell surface glycoprotein responsible for the binding of viral particles to their target cell, and is named because of its ability to agglutinate erythrocytes in vitro [2].
