Sequence : Full length
Genbank Number : BC056408
Purity : Sample Purity Data. For specific information on a given lot, see related technical data sheet.
Storage, Stability and Shipping : Store product at –70oC. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Applications : Western Blot
Molecular Weight : ~89 kDa
Gene Aliases : CRMP2, DHPRP2, DRP-2, DRP2
Scientific Background : Dihydropyrimidinase-related protein 2 (DPYSL2) is express-ed in both the CNS and PNS, playing a key role in neuronal development, axonal and neuronal growth, cell migration, and protein trafficking. Disruptions of DPYSL2 function have been implicated in neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, neuropathic pain, and Batten disease, and to psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia.
