Description :Synthetic construct BFP (228-end) was expressed in E. coli cells using an N-terminal His tag.

Tag :His tag

Expression System:E.coli

Sequence :228-end

Genbank Number :DQ399412

Purity :Sample Purity Data. For specific information on a given lot, see related technical data sheet.
Sample Purity Data

Storage, Stability, and Shipping :Store product at –70oC. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Molecular Weight :~28 kDa

Gene Aliases :pBI-SS(Tom)(TP)101-EGFP

Scientific Background :BFP contains tomato signal sequence and Thr-Pro synthetic glycomodule fused to EGFP (1). When it is expressed in plants, many of the repetitive proline residues are 4-hydroxylated and O-glycosylated (1). The resulting proteoglycan is secreted into the cell wall (2).
